The reaction was stirred at ambient temperature for 2 h, then poured into saturated aqueous NH4CI. The mixture was extracted with EA, washed with water, brine, dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate, and purified on silica gel column to afford desired 4-iodo-l -((2-(trimethylsilyl)ethoxy)methyl)-lH-pyrazole (7.5 g, 89%).
