To a solution of 2,4-difluoro-5-nitrobenzonitrile (Method 9, 5.0 g, 27 mmol) and DIEA (5.4 ml, 31 mmol) in THF (20 ml) was added dropwise the solution of 5-cyclopropyl- 1H-pyrazol-3-amine (3.2 g, 26 mmol) in THF (5 ml) at 0 C. The solvent was removed under reduced pressure and the resulted residue was purified by column chromatography (hexane : EtOAc = 3 : 1) to give the title compound as a yellow solid (5.5 g, 74%). NMR (400 MHz) 12.54 (s, 1H), 10.13 (s, 1H), 8.78 (d, J= 7.2 Hz, 1H), 8.10 (d, J= 13.6 Hz, 1H), 6.02 (s, 1H), 1.91 (m, 1H), 0.97 (m, 2H), 0.72 (m, 2H). MS: Calcd. : 287; Found: [M+H]+ 288.
