A mixture of methyl 4-bromo-1-methyl-1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid (1eq), 4,4,4′,4′,5,5,5′,5′- octamethyl-2,2′-bi(1,3,2-dioxaborolane) (1 eq), KOAc (2 eq) and Pd(dppf)Cl2 (5 mol%) in 1,4- dioxane (10 mL) was stirred at 100 oC overnight.
