After that, the mixture was filtrated and concentrated, the residue was recrystallized from n-hexane to prodce 1-methyl-1H-4-iodopyrazole (15 g) as white acicular crystal. 1H-NMR (300Hz, CDCl3) delta: 7.48 (s, 1H), 7.40 (s, 1H), 3.92 (s, 3H).
