The organic layer was separated, dried over Na2S04, filtered, and concentrated under reduced pressure to afford 6-(difluoro(5-fluoropyridin-2- yl)methyl)-l -methyl- lH-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-4-ol (1.85 g, 44%) as a solid, which was used without further purification. H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-t 6) delta 11.67 (s, 1H), 8.77 (s, 1H), 7.95 – 8.21 (m, 3H), 3.74 (s, 3H).
